What should be noted before and after rice harvest? Please note the following four points before and after rice harvest. 1. Drain early. Drain the water in the paddy field as much as possible, and if necessary, dig ditches to drain the water from low-lying areas early and dry the field. 2. Harvest at proper maturity. What should be noted when soaking rice seeds in chemical agents? Please advise.

Scientific seed soaking of rice is an effective method to control rice bakanae disease and white-tip nematode disease. In order to reduce unnecessary losses, the following four points must be noted:

1. Locally, when the daily average temperature is 18-20°C, soak the seeds in the shade for 60 hours. Therefore, seed soaking should preferably begin at 6-8 pm, so that the seeds can be removed at 6-8 am on the fourth day.

2. Strictly control the seed soaking concentration. Generally, add New High-Lipid Film to 10 kg of chemical solution and soak 5 kg of seeds. This can repel underground pests and diseases, isolate virus infection, not affect the imbibition and swelling function, strengthen respiration intensity, and improve the seed germination rate.

3. Carry out seed soaking at room temperature; no heating measures of any kind may be used.

4. First prepare the chemical solution and stir it evenly, then put in the seeds and stir once more. Do not soak the seeds in water first and then add the chemical agent.

5. Seeds soaked with chemical agents should not be rinsed with clean water. They should be directly germinated and sown to avoid reducing the efficacy of the chemical agent.
