What should be prevented when growing tomatoes in summer? Please note

When growing tomatoes in summer, the following two situations should be prevented:
Preventing flower drop and fruit drop  If daytime temperatures are too high, exceeding 34°C, nighttime temperatures are above 20°C, or daytime high temperatures of 40°C persist for 4 hours, the style elongates significantly above the anther cone, causing the ovary to shrivel, making it impossible for the stamens and pistils to pollinate and fertilize normally, resulting in flower drop and fruit drop.
Control methods: ① Use shade netting to lower the temperature. ② Adopt a balanced fertilization technique, avoid excessive use of nitrogen fertilizer, water with small amounts frequently, avoid flood irrigation, and ensure coordination of water and temperature. ③ When pollination is poor, growth regulators can be used to spray flowers, such as 2,4-D, spraying or smearing flowers as required.

Preventing 2,4-D phytotoxicity  Using 2,4-D to smear flowers has become a common practice, but some vegetable growers often fail to control the concentration well and suffer phytotoxicity. The concentration ratio is: after transplanting, when the temperature is 15°C-20°C, the concentration is 10-15 ppm. After the temperature rises, it can be reduced to 6-8 ppm. When using, prevent direct dipping onto tender branches or tender leaves, and spraying is strictly prohibited. If there are many flowers in the field, you can switch to using 4-CPA at 25-40 ppm to spray flowers.
