How do you supplement soybeans with micronutrient fertilizers? Please give an introduction
Soybeans need some trace elements for normal growth and development, among which the more important ones are molybdenum, boron, zinc, manganese, etc. Molybdenum is a component of the nitrogenase in soybean root nodules and an indispensable component for the normal life activities of nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Boron is also very important in the life activities of soybeans; with boron deficiency, the soybean root system develops poorly, nodules are poorly attached, and the nitrogen-fixing ability is lost. Therefore, attention must also be paid to trace elements.
The abundance or deficiency of trace elements in the soil and the environmental conditions determine whether the trace elements needed by soybeans can be satisfied from the soil. For example, low-lying or poorly drained soil is most prone to manganese deficiency, calcareous soil is prone to iron deficiency, and acidic soil with a pH below 6 is prone to molybdenum deficiency. As for the application of micronutrient fertilizers, it is best to use seed coating agents at sowing time, which is more economical.
If a trace element deficiency is found at the seedling stage, topdressing should be done by foliar spraying, using a 0.1% molybdic acid solution sprayed before soybean flowering, with 40-50 kg of liquid sprayed per 667 sq m.
