What is mint leaf spot disease? Please give an introduction
Mint leaf spot disease occurs commonly in our area; this disease is a fungal disease.
Symptoms: It mainly harms the leaves. Round to irregular dark green spots, 2-3mm in size, appear on the leaf surface, later turning brown, with the center fading to gray and a faded margin around them. Small black grains form on the spots. In severe cases, the leaf tissue around the spots turns yellow and partially dies.
Control methods:
1. Crop rotation;
2. Promptly remove diseased plant debris to reduce sources of infection;
3. Strengthen management and ensure rational drainage and irrigation;
4. Chemical control: You can use 30% Ludebao suspension concentrate at 400 times dilution, or 30% copper oxychloride suspension concentrate at 800 times dilution, or 70% thiophanate-methyl suspension concentrate at 800-900 times dilution, once every 7-10 days, for 2-3 consecutive applications. Stop using the chemicals 3 days before harvest.
