How to control seed-borne diseases of barley? What are the seed-borne diseases of barley? Friends, please help explain.

The seed-borne diseases of barley include barley loose smut and stripe disease, which are typical seed-borne diseases, that is, infection carried by the seed causes systemic disease in the whole plant, and they have a relatively large impact on barley yield.
In the past, seed soaking and seed dressing treatments with Jinszhongling were mostly used to control barley seed-borne diseases, but the control efficacy was unstable.

Control method: soak barley seed for 24 hours in a 2000-fold dilution of 25% Sportak emulsifiable concentrate; the control efficacy against loose smut is 984%; soak barley seed for 48 hours in a 3000-fold dilution; the control efficacy against both loose smut and stripe disease is 100%, clearly better than seed soaking with Jinszhongling or limewater.

When 3-5 milliliters of 25% Sportak emulsifiable concentrate plus a small amount of water is used to dress 10 kilograms of barley seed, the control efficacy against stripe disease is 99%. However, seed dressing has poor control efficacy against loose smut. Therefore, the seed dressing method is only suitable for areas where barley stripe disease occurs more severely.
