What harm does red spider mite do to soybeans? How to control soybean red spider mite? We also ask experienced netizens to help introduceZhongdiwang has compiled the harm and control methods of red spider mite on soybeans, listed below for netizens' reference.
Harm of red spider mite to soybeans:
The soybean red spider mite is Tetranychus cinnabarinus, which can occur throughout the entire growth period of soybeans. It initially occurs in spots and patches, with adult mites and nymphs gathering on the underside of leaves, spinning silk into webs and piercing and sucking leaf sap. In the early stage of damage to soybean leaves, yellow-white spots appear on the upper surface of the leaves. After 3-5 days, the spots expand and become denser, and red-brown spots appear on the leaves. Parts or even the whole leaf curl up, scorch and turn yellow or red-brown, leaves drop or even the stems become bare, and in severe cases the entire plant dies.
Soybean plots with more nitrogen fertilizer applied have more severe occurrence. When food is lacking, it has the habit of migrating. July-August is the peak period of damage. Plots with many weeds or sparse plants and poor growth have more severe occurrence. Continuous drought is very favorable for the reproduction of red spider mite, and the damage is most severe. When relative humidity exceeds 70%, it is unfavorable for the occurrence of red spider mite. Low temperature, rainy and windy weather are unfavorable for the reproduction of red spider mite.
Control methods for red spider mite:
Method one,Apply sufficient base fertilizer, increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, do not let fertilizer run short in the later stage, remove weeds thoroughly in time, irrigate in time during drought, and where conditions permit carry out paddy-upland rotation, which can reduce the incidence.
Method two,When spot and patch occurrence appears and the rate of curled-leaf soybean plants reaches 10%, pesticide control should be applied immediately. In combination with aphid control, choose 73% Miemanjing 3000-fold solution or 40% dichlorfenidol 1000-fold solution or 25% Kemanite emulsifiable concentrate 3000-fold solution or 20% Saomanjing, Manke emulsifiable concentrate 2000-fold solution, etc. for spraying, spraying 2-3 times consecutively. Under drought conditions, add 1% of the spray volume of plant-type spray adjuvants such as Yaoxiaobao and Xindebao.
Method three,For organic soybeans, choose 1.8% abamectin emulsifiable concentrate, 0.3% azadirachtin emulsifiable concentrate 1500-2000-fold solution, or 2.5% huaguangmycin 400-600-fold solution, bionic pesticide 1.8% Nongkeman emulsifiable concentrate 2000-fold solution for spraying. Under drought conditions, add 1% of the spray volume of plant-type spray adjuvants such as Yaoxiaobao and Xindebao.
