Three achievements in rapeseed direct seeders and windrowers pass appraisal
Recently, 3 achievements in rapeseed direct seeders and windrowers led by the research team of the College of Engineering at Huazhong Agricultural University passed appraisal by the Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Luo Xiwen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor at South China Agricultural University, and Chen Xuegeng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and researcher at the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Reclamation Sciences, served as chairman and vice-chairman of the appraisal committee respectively. Zhu Ming, president of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Engineering Research and Design, and Wang Hanzhong, director of the Oil Crops Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, attended the appraisal meeting. After appraisal, the expert panel concluded that all 3 technologies are at the international advanced level, with some at the international leading level. Experts said that China is a major rapeseed-growing country, yet the level of rapeseed mechanization remains low, and the mechanized sowing level of wheat in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River is 37%, far below the national average of 87%. After the promotion and application of the 3 achievements, rapeseed (including wheat) planting will take a solid step forward on the road to full mechanization.

Common Faults of No-Till Wheat Seeders and How to Fix Them
1. The overall seed metering device does not discharge seed. Causes: the seed box is empty, the transmission mechanism is not working, the drive wheel is slipping and not turning. Fill the seed box, inspect and adjust the transmission mechanism, and eliminate the cause of drive wheel slipping. 2. An individual seed metering unit does not discharge seed. Causes: the seed metering wheel clamp or key pin is loose and turning, the seed delivery tube or the seed drop opening is blocked. Re-tighten the seed metering wheel and clear the blockage in the seed delivery tube or seed drop opening.

A Detailed Guide to Using a Wheat No-Till Seeder and the Precautions to Take
During spring plowing, various models of seeders have been included in the scope of agricultural machinery purchase subsidies, and these machines are also essential production tools for farmers. Therefore, taking advantage of the preferential policies for agricultural machinery purchase subsidies, we can vigorously promote the use of various no-till seeders, thereby actively giving play to the guiding and promoting role of national policies in agricultural development.

How much does a rice drill seeder cost roughly per unit?
Mechanical drill seeding of rice is a cultivation method that uses a drill seeding machine to sow rice seeds directly into the field. It features fixed rows, straight rows and wide rows, and can make the field growing environment of direct-seeded rice similar to that of transplanted rice, thereby achieving high and stable yields. Rice

Eight requirements to note when using a precision dibble seeder on cotton mulched film
In 2005, our regiment introduced 1 unit of the 2BMJ-12 precision dibble seeder on cotton mulched film produced by the Shihezi Agricultural Machinery Research Institute, and that year trial-sowed 30 hectares. The application of precision dibble sowing technology on cotton mulched film saved costs on seed and manual thinning, and at the same time had advantages such as simple mechanical adjustment and operation, stable performance; and after sowing, the cotton seedlings grew uniformly and neatly. The eight requirements to note when using this machine are introduced below. 1. Requirements for land plowing quality: plow when soil moisture is suitable, plowing depth reaching 28-30 cm, with consistent plowing depth;

Maintenance Methods and Storage Key Points for Cotton Seeders
During the use of agricultural machinery, due to natural and human factors, the performance of parts and components will degrade or be lost. Therefore, the technical maintenance of agricultural machinery is extremely important. Correct maintenance and storage can greatly increase the service life of agricultural machinery, avoid premature wear of parts, and keep the machinery in good technical condition. Through the promotion of 514,000 mu of machine-picked cotton in Shawan County this year, the author has summarized some key points for doing a good job in the maintenance and storage of cotton seeders. The maintenance of cotton seeders is divided into three types of maintenance: pre-operation maintenance, in-operation maintenance, and post-operation
