In recent years, due to the price issue of corn, many growers have begun to choose to plant other crops instead of corn. Due to the impact of the temporary corn storage auction, corn prices in Northeast China and North China showed a divergence of one rising and one falling.
At present, the overall price of corn nationwide still maintains a downward trend, but the rate of decline is getting smaller and smaller. For farmers growing corn, this causes great losses. After the second temporary corn storage auction, the price decline of corn dropped from the previous 100-130 yuan/ton to 40-70 yuan/ton. After the third auction, the transaction price continued to decrease, but supported by the floor price of the temporary storage auction, the room for corn prices to continue falling is limited.
The adjustment of the corn planting structure has produced relatively good results and may boost the corn market
According to the data, last week, corn prices in the domestic market underwent a slight weak adjustment, with an average price of 1867.14 yuan/ton, a slight decline of 0.15%. But judging from this year's summer planting situation, how corn prices will trend later still depends on changes in market demand for corn.
At present, the adjustment of the corn planting structure has produced relatively good results, and judging from the production situation of corn deep-processing enterprises, the industrial demand for corn will still grow somewhat, which will boost corn prices to a certain extent.
Demand and supply are inseparable. If demand exceeds supply, then the price of crops will certainly rise somewhat; if supply exceeds demand, the price of crops will decline somewhat. So before planting crops on a large scale, you must have some understanding of market demand. At the same time, you should also have some understanding of the domestic planting area of this crop. Only in this way will the crops you plant bring returns.
