Anthurium 'Pink Champion' is a perennial evergreen herbaceous plant in the genus Anthurium of the family Araceae, named for its pink spathe and often called Pink Champion. It has a compact form with dark green, glossy leaves, and the spadix standing upright in the center of the pink bract gives it great ornamental value. In a suitable temperature environment, Anthurium 'Pink Champion' can bloom almost year-round, and a single flower remains ornamental for a long time, making it a very popular indoor potted flower.

Anthurium 'Pink Champion' prefers warm, humid conditions and diffused light, and dislikes direct strong sunlight; placing it by a bright window is usually enough, and in summer it should be shaded appropriately. It is not cold-tolerant, so in winter it must be moved indoors for warmth and protected from direct cold drafts. Water it by letting the soil dry between waterings, keeping the potting soil moist but not waterlogged; when the air is dry, spray water on the leaves and surroundings more often to increase humidity, and during the growing season apply light fertilizer frequently.

For planting Anthurium 'Pink Champion', choose loose, breathable, well-drained, slightly acidic soil; a mix of peat moss and perlite works well. Home propagation is mostly done by division: in spring, when repotting, separate the small offshoots with roots beside the mother plant and plant them. Repotting once every one to two years of care helps the plant keep growing vigorously.

In daily care, if leaves turn yellow, it is mostly related to excessive light, overwatering, or low temperatures, so the cause should be checked and adjusted promptly. Also note that the sap of Anthurium 'Pink Champion' contains calcium oxalate, so it is best to wear gloves when pruning to avoid the sap contacting the skin. If there are young children or pets at home, place it out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion.
