Want to identify all kinds of vegetables and melons? Come visit the planting expo
I remember that last trip to the vegetable park left a very deep impression on this editor, and I really wanted to go again. Although that never happened, I recently took a peek at the newly held Guangdong Planting Expo, and it was larger in scale and even more stunning! I do not know whether the promotion was insufficient or what, but the expo address was not very clear. Of course, that was no obstacle for this editor. Although there were a few small twists and turns, I still arrived safely at the destination.

I had thought this kind of expo would be just like the one at the Pazhou Exhibition Center, but this place was very special: it not only had a trading area at the exhibition center, but also a cultivation base display that people talked about with great enthusiasm. The first stop was the Hundred-Flavor Pumpkin Garden,

Several giant pumpkin models made people laugh at first sight, and many friends rushed over to take photos, afraid of missing out. Around them there were also many pumpkins usually seen in vegetable markets. They were real. The bag was too small, otherwise I would have wanted to sneak a few away, haha! There were not only pumpkins, but also radishes of various colors in the soil, and winter melons on the trellises. Unexpectedly, seeing a vegetable garden still made me unusually excited, perhaps because I was looking forward too much to the joy of harvest. Taking another look around,

This place is simply an artistic vegetable garden, with all kinds of vegetablesmelons and fruitsand many names I could not even name, which was a bit awkward. The lotus cabbage alone had over a hundred varieties, and some names sounded especially nice. If you were asked to pick vegetables here, you would probably stand there completely confused, wondering which variety to eat. Before long, I discovered different pumpkins again,

They were really too cute and exquisitely small. If I really chopped them up as vegetables, I would still feel a bit reluctant. As toys they might be more suitable. Put out a few more and it could be Halloween again. I quickly left this artistic garden and went to look elsewhere. Unexpectedly, other places were also stunning: whole patches of eggplants and peppers, and these are this editor's favorites. Let us start with eggplants. Never mind the varieties, there were also too many to count,

There were several kinds just in shape and color. If they were placed in a vegetable market, probably quite a few people would misidentify them,

At that point you would doubt whether your supposed broad knowledge was fake. Better go learn in the vegetable garden first, otherwise you will be laughed at later.
Although peppers are easy to recognize, their varieties are not easy to identify. There were those from Sichuan, those from Hunan, those from Guangdong, and quite a few from Southeast Asia and South America... Once again, my own understanding was overturned.
I really could not bear to keep watching. This editor even wanted to ask whether they still take apprentices here, and was ready to study here and learn to recognize these vegetables, melons and fruits!
I decided not to look at the rest and got ready to go home, afraid that my young and tender soul would be hurt again. This really is a great place for agricultural science popularization. When you have time, bring the whole family, young and old, to broaden your knowledge! If you really cannot resist, then just buy, buy, buy!
