Developed by the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences through crossbreeding of Lühua No. 5 × Okubo. The original code was Beijing No. 24, and it was named in 1977. The fruit is nearly round and uniform, with a flat apex and a central depression; the average single fruit weight is 120 g, and the largest fruit weight is 210 g; the ground color of the skin is yellow-white with a slight green tint, nearly fully covered with a thin bright red or dark red dotted blush, with a few intermittent stripes on the back; the skin is thick and easy to peel when fully ripe; the flesh is white, with a pale red tint near the skin on the sunlit side and a red glow around the pit; the flesh is dense, becoming soft and juicy when fully ripe, sweet in flavor, and aromatic. Quality is superior. Clingstone, storage and transport tolerant, and excellent for canning. The tree vigor is relatively strong, and the tree posture is semi-spreading. In the early fruiting stage, long and medium fruit branches are the main bearing branches, while after the full fruiting stage, medium and short fruit branches predominate. It has many compound flower buds, a low starting node for flower buds, and extremely abundant pollen; there is preharvest fruit drop, and the flower buds have strong cold resistance. It blooms in early April, and the fruit ripens in mid to late August; the fruit development period is about 135 days.
