Introduction to the cultivar characteristics of the peach variety Huaguang
Bred by the Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, from a cross of Ruiguang 3 × Armking. The fruit is nearly round, with an average single fruit weight of 80 g; it has an attractive appearance, with more than 1/2 of the fruit surface colored rose red; the flesh is white, soft-melting, with a rich sweet flavor and aroma; soluble solids are above 12%. Clingstone. The fruit ripens from late May to early June, with a fruit development period of 60 days. This variety is an extremely early-ripening white-fleshed sweet nectarine. It has an attractive appearance, excellent quality, large flowers, abundant pollen, and is extremely productive, with fruit cracking occurring in some years.
