Winter Snow Honey Peach is a precious new extremely late-maturing peach variety bred from Qingzhou honey peach. This peach is currently the most late-maturing, the best in storage tolerance, and the best in quality among late-maturing peaches in China, a valuable variety resource with broad development prospects. This variety has passed provincial variety approval, was rated as a Shandong small special-quality fruit and a Weifang rare-quality fruit for two consecutive years, and has been listed by the Ministry of Agriculture as a national priority development variety. It has been introduced to 28 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country.

1. Late maturity period. In Qingzhou, Shandong, Winter Snow Honey Peach mostly ripens in early to mid-November, that is, between the Start of Winter and Minor Snow. The fruit can withstand slight frost; as long as no freeze damage occurs, it can remain hanging on the branches, neither falling nor rotting.

2. Excellent quality. The single fruit weighs 110 grams, with larger ones reaching more than 200 grams. The base color is pale green, and the sun-exposed side is rose red. The flesh is milky white, semi-clingstone, fine and delicate in texture, fragrant, crisp, and sweet, with an edible rate of 96.5%. It contains 18%-20% soluble solids, up to a maximum of 24%, 12.5% total sugar, and 0.66% amino acids, and is rich in various trace elements such as iron, calcium, magnesium, and zinc, making it highly nutritious.

3. Long storage period. This variety is extremely tolerant of storage and transport. It can be stored until New Year's Day in an ordinary room and until the Spring Festival in a low-temperature cold storage, still maintaining bright color and crisp, sweet flesh, with quality basically unchanged. This is a major breakthrough in the world history of peach storage, ending the history of thousands of years in which peaches could not be stored for long and no fresh peaches were supplied to the market at New Year's Day and the Spring Festival.

4. Wide adaptability and strong productivity. This variety is drought-resistant, cold-resistant, and tolerant of barren soil, and can be planted on plains and mountainous land alike. It flowers easily and has a high fruit-setting rate, with no need for pollinizer trees. Generally, it bears fruit in 2 years, shows returns in 3 years, and reaches high yield in 4-5 years, with a yield of 2,500 kg-3,000 kg per mu, and high-yield orchards can reach more than 4,000 kg, giving high economic returns.
