When the extension shoot of the main branch reaches 40cm, pinch the tip to cultivate side branches. Other branches are treated separately according to their position and growth vigor: pinch the tips of upward-growing branches, bend the lateral branches, and leave the downward-growing branches untouched. In August, pull the main and side branches to 60 degrees, and pull the other branches to horizontal. During winter pruning, leave the main and side branches and cut them back to 40-50cm; lightly cut back the medium and long branches at 1/3 of their length. Pruning in the second year is the same as in the first year, except that in July, to ensure the formation of enough flower buds, each plant needs 2-3g of 15% paclobutrazol applied. Watering is needed each year before bud break, after flowering during the fruit swelling stage, and before the soil freezes. Apply 1kg of urea before bud break, and apply 50kg of base fertilizer before the soil freezes. Spray foliar fertilizer 5-6 times a year, starting in late April, once every half month, spraying a mixture of 0.3% monopotassium phosphate plus 0.5% urea.
