Pen Zao 2 is a local excellent large jujube variety, suitable for bonsai cultivation, combining ornamental and fresh-eating value. Its main excellent traits are as follows:

1. Strong early fruiting and high yield: in the small environment of a flowerpot (Note: the inner diameter of the flowerpot mouth should be about 35-40 cm, and the pot depth should preferably be about 28 cm), the number of fruits set in the same year reaches about 35, and in the second year the number of fruits per plant reaches 108, with an average fresh jujube yield per plant of 3.2 kg. Field planting yields more than 52% higher than pot cultivation.
