Introduction to the ornamental jujube Longzao cultivar and its main characteristics
Longzao, also known as Longzhuao jujube or Quzhi jujube, has single fruits weighing about 10g. Its tree body is dwarfed; an 80-150 year old tree is only 1.2-5.5 m tall, and the tree shape is irregularly curved, either winding and twisting as it stretches forward, or coiling into circles as it grows. The tree shape is peculiar and has very high ornamental value.
