Shoulin Taowang is an extra-large, early-maturing, high-quality new honey peach variety selected by Li Wenlin, a senior agronomist at the Fruit Tree Research Institute of Shou County, Anhui Province, from the "Annong Shuimi" peach. The fruit of Shoulin Taowang is nearly round, with an average single-fruit weight of 280 grams. The flesh is milky white or slightly milky red, very juicy and rich in flavor, sweet and delicious. It contains 11.8-13.9% soluble solids, 11.5-13.8% total sugars, and 5.9 mg/100 g vitamin C. It is rich in nutrients, semi-clingstone, and has a relatively thick skin, which is favorable for long-distance transport.

This variety has strong adaptability and can be planted in most areas nationwide. Plant in winter or spring. Before planting, prepare sufficient base fertilizer and deeply plow the soil. Plant 35-40 trees per mu, or 70-120 trees at high density, and about 660 trees under greenhouse cultivation. With proper management, each mu can yield more than 2,500 kg of fruit after 3 years. During cultivation, pollinator trees need to be interplanted, with a pollinator-to-main-variety ratio of 4:1 to 8:1. In the central Anhui region, Shoulin Taowang begins flowering on March 20, reaches full bloom at the end of March, and the fruit ripens in mid-June.
