Physical and chemical properties: appearance is a dark yellow liquid, density 1.04-1.08 kg/L, storage stability period 2 years, cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides.
Toxicity: a highly toxic insecticide, toxic to mammals, birds and bees; the safety regulations for the use of highly toxic pesticides should be observed when applying.
Mode of action: Supracide, also called methidathion, is a broad-spectrum organophosphorus insecticide with contact, stomach and penetrating action, and is effective against insects with chewing mouthparts and piercing-sucking mouthparts. The product has a penetrating action and can penetrate into plant tissues; its residual effect period is relatively long, it is especially effective against scale insects, and it also has a certain controlling effect on mites. Its insecticidal mechanism is inhibiting the activity of cholinesterase in the insect body. Target pests and application methods: it mainly controls various scale insects and mites; application must be timed during the peak occurrence period of young scale insects and young mites, with an application interval of 10-15 days, applied 2-3 times. The foliar spray concentration is a 1000-1500 fold dilution, giving good control results, with a residual effect period of 15-20 days.
