What should be noted when bagging Ya pears? Please help explain
The following 5 points should be noted when bagging Ya pears:
(1) Leave an appropriate number of fruits. Generally, each fruit needs 20 leaves to provide nutrients.
(2) In northern fruit-growing areas, bagging is generally done immediately after fruit thinning is completed in mid-to-late May, and should be finished before early June.
(3) Before bagging, insecticides and fungicides should be sprayed carefully to control pests and diseases. After bagging, prevent stink bug bites.
(4) Choose vigorous trees in the early full-bearing stage and trees with medium-sized canopies in the full-bearing stage for bagging. Fruits on the outer middle and lower parts of the canopy should be bagged more, while fruits on the upper part and inner canopy should be bagged less or not at all; fruits on lateral bearing branches should be bagged more, while fruits on upright branches on the back should be bagged less.
(5) The bag opening should be tied tightly at the base of the fruit stalk (but the fruit stalk should not be damaged), to prevent it from being blown off by wind or pests from getting in. At harvest, the fruit can be picked together with the bag, and the bag removed when packing.
