What is banana Panama disease? Please explain

Banana Panama disease, also known as Fusarium wilt and banana yellow leaf disease, is a vascular wilt disease. It is caused by poisoning from toxins produced by the pathogen. Internal symptoms appear as yellow to brown lesions in the vascular bundles of the pseudostem and corm, spotted or linear at first, later running through as stripes or blocks. The woody vessels of the roots turn reddish-brown, extending all the way into the corm, then turning dark brown and drying out. External symptoms appear as
yellow leaves, and finally the whole plant dies.

This disease is a soil-borne disease, and there is currently no ideal specific cure. Select disease-free suckers for cultivation and propagation, and choose disease-free new areas for planting. When scattered diseased plants are found, they must be removed and destroyed promptly, and lime should be spread in the planting holes to disinfect the soil. When diseased plants are found, they should be killed with a glyphosate solution, dug out and burned on the spot, and the planting holes should be disinfected with soil disinfectants such as formalin solution, then covered with plastic film or treated with carbendazim powder.
