How is micro-sprinkler irrigation used in banana cultivation? What are the benefits of using micro-sprinkler irrigation? Please introduce

Micro-sprinkler irrigation technology is a practical technique for banana production and cultivation that requires low investment, is easy to operate, delivers quick results and good returns, and is easy for banana farmers to learn, understand and master.
    1. Advantages of micro-sprinkler irrigation technology
    1. It can change the microclimate of the banana plantation, ensure the water needed for normal banana growth, and make it possible to irrigate in drought and drain in waterlogging.
    2. It can control the sanitary condition of the water source and effectively cut off the spread of viruses, pathogens and harmful organisms in the banana plantation through the water source, reducing the occurrence of pests and diseases.
    3. It lowers the groundwater table and promotes deep rooting of banana roots, which is beneficial to banana growth and lays the foundation for high banana yields.
    4. It can save water and labor and reduce soil erosion.
    5. It can be used to apply water and fertilizer, completing watering and fertilizing in one go, improving fertilizer efficiency and speeding up the banana's absorption of nutrients.
    6. Watering is more uniform, allowing appropriate irrigation and avoiding insufficient or excessive watering.
    2. System composition
The micro-sprinkler irrigation system consists of four parts: power control, water source engineering, conveyance pipelines and micro-sprinkler tape.
    3. Investment cost
The installation, use and operation of micro-sprinkler irrigation in a banana plantation are very simple. The scale of installation is inversely related to production cost: the larger the scale, the lower the cost. The optimal area for use in a banana plantation is about 300 mu. Installation requires 420 yuan per mu and can be used for 5~6 years. The average annual investment is only 70~84 yuan per mu, and the investment per banana plant is 0.5~0.6 yuan.
    4. Application effects
    1. Effect of micro-sprinkler irrigation on banana growth: The application of micro-sprinkler irrigation can effectively regulate water supply and control field soil moisture. In hot seasons it can lower the temperature of the banana plantation by 1~1.5°C; in the dry season it can increase the relative air humidity by 5~15%. It effectively improves drought resistance in the dry season and can also improve cold resistance and frost protection in winter.
    2. Effect of micro-sprinkler irrigation on yield and quality: It can improve banana yield and quality. The yield increase per mu can reach 400~500 kg.
    3. Production effect of micro-sprinkler irrigation on labor saving and water saving: With micro-sprinkler irrigation, each person can irrigate more than 12,000 banana plants per day; with traditional flood irrigation, each person irrigates about 1,800 banana plants per day.
Applying micro-sprinkler irrigation technology can effectively regulate the water supply of bananas and control field soil air humidity, shorten the banana growth period by 20~35 days, significantly improve banana yield and quality, and produce remarkable economic benefits.
