Trellised grapes can be managed in summer by referring to the following methods:
1. Bud removal and shoot removal: Remove the weak lower shoots, keep an appropriate amount of lower buds and shoots, and do not favor keeping the strong upper shoots, otherwise the fruiting position will very easily move upward.

2. Number of shoots retained: Control the number of shoots retained; it should be less than the number of shoots retained for a double-cross "v"-shaped trellis.

3. Tying and shoot positioning: The entire trellis surface should be uniform, avoiding uneven density and gaps.

4. Pinching and lateral shoot treatment: For the first pinching, strong upper branches can be pinched after retaining 11-12 leaves, while pinching for the lower part should be delayed. The 2nd and 3rd pinching should also follow the principle of controlling the upper part and promoting the lower part, and lateral shoots should be completely removed in batches to reduce canopy density.

5. Selection and retention of vegetative shoots: Proceed according to the allocation of fruiting shoot groups, and pay attention to selecting and retaining stronger lower branches to cultivate into vegetative shoots, so as to slow the upward movement of the fruiting position. Some of the high-quality upper fruiting shoots can be used as fruiting canes for the next year.
