Jujube trees generally have a high self-fruitfulness rate and do not need pollinator trees, but they suffer from severe flower and fruit drop and low yields, so management should be strengthened during the flowering and fruiting period. For detailed methods, refer to the following list:

1. Trunk girdling. At a distance of 10-20 cm from the ground on the trunk, use a sharp knife to make two ring cuts, 0.4-0.6 cm wide, deep to the xylem, and peel off the bark. The wound will heal after 1 month. Notes: (1) Do not girdle weak trees; (2) Do not girdle before the right time - the suitable period is full bloom; (3) Do not girdle in consecutive years, and take care to prevent the cut from being harmed by pests and diseases.

2. Foliar fertilization during the flowering period. Jujube trees often encounter drought or dry hot winds during the flowering period, which affects the fruit-setting rate. Generally, spraying 0.3% urea or trace element solutions such as boron, manganese, zinc and iron all have obvious yield-increasing effects.

3. Do not spray pesticides during the flowering period.
4. Spraying auxin can improve the fruit-setting rate and increase yield.
5. Place bees in the jujube orchard. Jujube trees are insect-pollinated flowers, and using honeybees to strengthen pollination can improve the fruit-setting rate.
