After jujube fruits enter the enlargement stage, the heavy nutrient growth and reproductive growth consume a large amount of nutrients stored in the tree, and it is also the critical period when the roots rapidly absorb nutrients just as the girdling wound has healed. Therefore, the jujube trees become weaker, suffer from nutrient deficiency, and have a reduced ability to resist adverse external factors, often showing yellow leaves, leaf drop, and fruit drop. The following methods can be referenced for managing jujube trees:

1. Preventing fruit drop: During the young fruit enlargement stage, fruits often experience physiological fruit drop due to insufficient nutrient supply. To reduce fruit drop, spray fruit-strengthening and stem-strengthening agent over the entire canopy, once every 7-10 days, for 2-3 consecutive sprays.

2. Fertilization: For jujube trees that have not been top-dressed, take advantage of the relatively moist conditions after rain or apply top-dressing promptly before watering. For jujube trees in full fruit-bearing stage, apply 0.8-1 kg of diammonium phosphate and 1 kg of potassium sulfate per tree to improve the tree's nutrient level and disease resistance;

3. Pay attention to pest and disease control: The main pests during this period are the peach fruit moth, red spider mite, etc. Special attention should be paid to their control. If control is not timely, it will cause serious leaf drop and fruit drop. You can use 4.5% beta-cypermethrin emulsifiable concentrate or 15% pyridaben emulsifiable concentrate at 1500-2000 times dilution, etc. + new high-lipid film for control, spraying once every 5-7 days. It is particularly worth mentioning that when spraying pesticides, attention should be paid to the quality of spraying. The upper and lower parts of the canopy, inside and outside the tree crown, and especially the undersides of leaves must all be sprayed to improve the control effect on pests and diseases.
