Winter pest control methods for pear trees:
Method 1. Broadcasting pesticide on the ground of the pear orchard:
At the beginning of the emergence period of the overwintering generation adults, which is mid-March to the end of March for the pear gall midge, the end of March to early April for the pear fruit sawfly, and early to mid-April for the pear curculio, broadcast the pesticide. Use 4 kg of 5% trichlorfon powder per mu, mix with fine soil or fine sand and broadcast within the drip line of the canopy between the rows; the effect is quite good. If light rain or showers occur after application, the effect will be even more pronounced.
Method 2. Spraying pesticide on the canopy of pear trees:
During the damage period of the pear curculio and the emergence peak of the pear fruit sawfly and pear gall midge, chemical control can suppress the earlier population and control the later one. For controlling the pear curculio, you can choose 90% crystalline trichlorfon at 700 times dilution or 2.5% deltamethrin emulsifiable concentrate at 1500 times dilution; for controlling the pear fruit sawfly, you can choose 20% fenpropathrin emulsifiable concentrate at 2000 times dilution or 40% omethoate at 1200 times dilution; for controlling the pear gall midge, you can choose 25% bisultap at 500 times dilution.
For red and yellow spider mites, you can use Hongbai Luanmanjin, Luanmante, Manbisha and other pesticides alternately for control. For scale insects, you can use methidathion or Sijie and other pesticides promptly after fruit harvest for control.
Winter disease control methods for pear trees:
To control pear scab and pear black spot, you can spray pesticides promptly after harvesting the pear fruit, using zineb, Fuxing, Bordeaux mixture (1 jin of quicklime, 2 jin of copper sulfate, 200 jin of water), diniconazole, Fuliku and other pesticides alternately.
