Many times I am like a crazy direct seller, always persuading others to do home composting. Once you can cultivate your own bacterial community, you can speed up the decomposition and maturing of compost. This is a very low-input, high-benefit thing, very worth promoting. If you can avoid throwing out kitchen scraps and just process them at home, without taking up space, then for a housewife this is a really delightful project.

Small-space kitchen scrap fermentation technique, using vertical stacking to save space

Currently, based on my daily experience, I have developed a small-space kitchen scrap fermentation technique, using two stages to mature my kitchen scraps into fertile soil. First, I use a sealed kitchen scrap bucket for the first stage of anaerobic digestion. Because it is well sealed, it does not smell, and because it is stacked vertically, the space it takes up can be reduced and made taller. The only thing is, after fermentation, you turn the switch at the bottom to let the kitchen scrap liquid flow out, which can be used to water flowers or fertilize! It must be diluted before use.

Below is my first-stage sealed kitchen scrap bucket. This is one type, and you do not necessarily have to use this one. Anyway, as long as it is sealed and the water at the bottom can be controlled and drained, that is fine! Some people online also make their own, using paint buckets to make kitchen scrap buckets.
