Zhongqinghe Jianlan: The Unique Charm of Jianlan Varieties
Zhongqinghe is another new highlight of the Sijilan (Four-Season Orchid) from Wanfu Orchid Garden. In August 2005, I purchased 4 remnant seedlings with one flower spike. At that time, I fell in love with this flower's beauty at first sight, and named it Zhongqinghe. However, this plant was extremely difficult to cultivate at the time - some would sprout and some would die back. It was not until 2009 that I finally managed to domesticate this plant.
