How much is nutria per jin? Detailed explanation of breeding methods
The nutria is an important fur-bearing animal, its meat is edible, and it is now farmed all over the world, with escapees in some areas becoming an invasive species. The nutria grows fast and has strong reproductive capacity, so how much is nutria per jin? How to raise it? 1. How much is nutria per jin

How to Raise Nutria? A Complete Guide to Breeding Techniques and Precautions
The nutria is valuable from the inside out. It can be used not only as food but also has medicinal research value, and its fur can be made into clothing, making it a popular choice in the breeding industry. So how exactly should nutria be raised? Let's learn about nutria breeding techniques together below.

How to prevent and control coccidiosis in nutria? Farmers need to master the methods
Pathogen 1 The pathogen of coccidiosis (C. ccidiosis) is the coccidium of the class Sporozoa, a parasitic single-celled protozoan. Coccidia parasitize the epithelial cells of the small intestinal mucosa, and through asexual reproduction (schizogony) for many generations, they produce many new individuals. After several schizogonic

How to select breeding nutria? Sharing breeding experience
Generally, adult nutria from 6-7 months to 3 years of age are selected. Selection work should be carried out year-round, and it is best to conduct quality evaluation of the breeding stock from late November to mid-January. Selection is based on body size, body weight, body condition, fur quality, color, reproductive capacity, progeny quality, and other factors.

Key Technical Points for Feeding and Management of Nutria During Lactation
The focus of feeding and management during lactation is to ensure normal milk secretion in the female nutria and normal growth and development of the young, and to improve the survival rate of the young. (1) To promote milk production in the female nutria, manual plucking of the mammary hair and the use of Chinese herbal galactagogues can be adopted to promote mammary gland milk secretion. Manual

Prevention and Treatment of Pneumonia in Nutria Farming
[Causes of pneumonia in nutria] It mostly develops from bronchitis. Factors such as overwork, colds, stimulation by physical and chemical factors, changeable weather, and long-distance transport weaken the body and lower resistance, inducing this disease. Organisms such as pneumococci, staphylococci, and strepto-

How to prevent and treat Klebsiella infection in nutria (coypu) farming?
Klebsiella infection (Klebsiellosis), also known as multiple abscesses, is a sporadic or enzootic chronic infectious disease caused by Klebsiella pneumoniae. (Pathogen and epidemiology) The bacterium is widely distributed in soil, water, and the respiratory and digestive tracts of humans and animals.

Prevention and Treatment Methods for Tuberculosis in Farmed Nutria
Tuberculosis (Tubercu[.sis) is a chronic infectious disease shared by livestock, poultry, fur-bearing animals and humans, occurring as endemic outbreaks. Tuberculosis is characterized by the formation of caseated and calcified tuberculous nodules in the internal organs. (Pathogen) The pathogen of tuberculosis

Prevention and Treatment of Rabies in Nutria Breeding
1) Prodromal stage. During this period, affected nutrias are briefly depressed and move slowly; the symptoms at this stage are not easy to notice. 2) Excitation stage. Affected nutrias show excitement and aggressive behavior, lunging at people and other animals, biting, clawing, and tearing everything they encounter. Affected nutrias can injure their own tongue, teeth, and gums and can break their lower teeth. Affected nutrias refuse food, do not drink water, and often swallow various objects placed in the cage. The violent stage recurs repeatedly; during episodes the affected nutrias groan, salivate excessively, and have diarrhea. 3) Paralysis stage. During this stage the paralysis process intensifies, manifesting as swaying of the hindquarters and paralysis of the hind limbs. Body temperature drops. Sick nutrias cannot rise, lie down unconsciously, and die in spasms and convulsions. (2) Necropsy: the gastrointestinal mucosa is congested or hemorrhagic; the liver is dark red and flaccid; the spleen is slightly enlarged, and there are also cases in which it is 2-3 times larger than normal. Anemia is found in the kidneys, and the boundary between the cortical layer and the medullary layer disappears. In some cases there is pulmonary hemorrhage. In the brain, congestion appears due to blood vessels being highly filled and dilated with blood. The fluid in the ventricles increases, and pinpoint hemorrhages are often found in the brain tissue. 4) Prevention. The measure for preventing rabies on nutria farms is to resolutely prevent outside dogs from entering the nutria breeding area; keepers must also be vaccinated against rabies. If rabies-infected nutrias are found on the farm, a blockade must be resolutely implemented, and the epidemic situation must be reported promptly to the higher competent department. Resolutely prevent sick nutrias on the farm from escaping off the farm; confirmed rabies-infected nutrias or carcasses of nutrias that died of the disease must all be burned or deeply buried; individuals that have not developed the disease must be examined one by one so that sick nutrias are detected in time. Healthy nutrias must all be injected with rabies hyperimmune serum, and 7-10 days later injected with rabies vaccine. Counting from the last case that died of rabies, the blockade is lifted after 2 months.

How to prevent and treat mastitis in nutria breeding
[Causes of mastitis in nutria]Mastitis is mostly caused by infection of the mammary tissue, such as traumatic infection from bites to the udder by the young, or the mother nutria having an abundant milk supply, causing the udder to become engorged, while the young have weak suckling ability or die, leading to long-term accumulation of milk and causing mastitis
