How to raise newly hatched chicks in the first week to help you grow healthy chicks
After an egg is incubated, the chick will break out of its shell, and the first week after hatching is a very important period for rearing. Good feeding management plays a decisive role in the survival rate of chicks, so how do you raise newly hatched chicks in the first week? 1. Feed 1. First feeding

What are the precautions for hatching pheasant eggs
Perhaps not many people know much about pheasants. Pheasants are very different from ordinary chickens. Pheasants have higher nutritional value than ordinary chickens. From the name pheasant, we can know that it is a chicken that grows in the mountains. From this we can see that its growth

Hatchling turtle rearing has its finer points: these eight breeding techniques must be mastered
Turtles hatched from eggs are called hatchlings. When hatchlings emerge from the shell, they generally weigh 3 to 13 grams, with tender bodies and weak mobility, and they do not adapt well to the environment. If not carefully reared, they easily die. Therefore, doing a good job of rearing hatchlings is the most critical part of turtle farming. The following introduces eight

A Detailed Explanation of the Muscovy Duck Hatching Process and Precautions
Breeding eggs can be incubated by machine or by domestic hens. The best time to set them is around 4 p.m., so that the bulk of the hatch can be timed to occur during the day. 1. Cleaning and disinfection: Before the breeding eggs are set, they must first be cleaned and disinfected. The disinfectant should be Baidusha diluted at a ratio of 1:600.

Detailed Explanation of Key Points on Hatching Techniques for Wild Goose Breeding Eggs
Wild geese reach sexual maturity relatively late; generally, female geese need 3 years before they can lay eggs. In artificially domesticated geese, sexual maturity can be advanced to 9-10 months of age, and one male can mate with multiple females. After 2-3 generations of domesticated breeding, wild geese can be artificially incubated.

Key Technical Points for Artificial Breeding and Hatching Management of Snakehead
The snakehead is a fairly commonly eaten fish in China. It is a fairly common delicacy on the dining table, and its nutritional value is extremely rich. The protein content of snakehead is very high, and eating more snakehead has a certain effect on reducing inflammation in human wounds. Therefore, in daily life, many

Management techniques for the hatching and metamorphosis stages in forest frog farming
In mid-March, the water temperature in the Suzhou area is generally around 915~C, and the fertilized eggs hatch into tadpoles after about 5 days, with a hatching rate of about 85%. The main factor affecting the hatching of fertilized eggs is temperature: when the water temperature is below 6~C, both the hatching speed and the hatching rate decrease markedly. Light itself

Environmental Requirements and Management Techniques for Hatching in Rice Field Eel Aquaculture
The hatching rate of fertilized rice field eel eggs is affected by various environmental factors, among which the main ones are water temperature, dissolved oxygen and harmful organisms. (1) Water temperature The embryonic development of rice field eel is extremely closely related to water temperature. This is mainly shown in three aspects: first, embryonic development must be carried out at a suitable water temperature; too high or too low will cause a decline in hatching rate or embryonic deformity. Studies show that the suitable water temperature for embryonic development of rice field eel is 21-28°C, and the optimal water temperature is 24-26°C; second, within the suitable water temperature range, too large or too rapid a water temperature difference can also cause embryonic deformity or death, and it is usually required that the temperature change within a short time should not exceed 3°C, and preferably not exceed 1°C; third, the length of embryonic development time of rice field eel is directly affected by water temperature. At a water temperature of about 30°C (28-36°C), embryonic development takes 5-7 days, and at a water temperature of about 25°C, embryonic development takes 9-11 days.

Practical Tips for Selecting Young Fry When Keeping Koi
After hatching, koi fry are raised for about 20 days to 1 month, and when the fish body reaches about 3 cm, selection must be carried out. The purpose of selection is to remove the inferior and keep the superior, strengthen the growth rate, and thereby protect the genetic traits. Therefore, selecting young fry is the

How are pullorum disease in newly hatched partridges diagnosed and treated in partridge farming?
Diagnosis and prevention and treatment Based on the characteristics of mass onset and death among young partridges and grayish-white foul-smelling diarrhea, a preliminary diagnosis can be made. After laboratory bacterial isolation and identification, it was confirmed as partridge pullorum disease. The partridge farm was immediately locked down, and 63 severely affected partridges were isolated separately from 584 mildly affected and asymptomatic partridges; the partridge house was cleaned, ventilation was strengthened, and stocking density was adjusted. The partridge house was sprayed and disinfected with 1:300 Baidusha while the partridges were present, once per day, for 3 consecutive days; the whole flock was immediately given norfloxacin at 0.05% mixed into feed and ciprofloxacin at 0.02% in drinking water for 5 consecutive days. The 63 severely affected partridges were injected intramuscularly with 2 ml:0.5 g (500,000 units) kanamycin sulfate at 0.1 ml per bird, twice per day, for 3 consecutive days; contaminated feathers and feces were promptly cleaned up daily and disinfected with 2% NaOH; dead partridge carcasses were soaked in 2% NaOH for half an hour and then deeply buried. On the morning of the next day after these measures were taken, 5 mildly affected partridges died, and the remaining partridges showed improved spirits and increased feed intake; 22 severely affected partridges died, and the remaining partridges gradually improved in spirit, with some already seen foraging. On the third day, 4 severely affected partridges died, and the spirits and appetite of the remaining partridges gradually returned to normal. A follow-up visit half a month later showed that the partridge flock had fully recovered and was growing and developing normally.
