Let us take a look at the process flow and technical key points in the production and processing of vervain essential oil. Vervain has many effects on the skin, and surely everyone wants to give it a try. Let us take a look at that as well.

Production and processing of vervain essential oil:

1. A camphor vervain essential oil, characterized in that, based on parts by weight, it comprises the following raw materials: 12~35 parts camphor extract, 10~30 parts vervain extract, 5~25 parts tea tree extract, 20~45 parts sweet almond oil, 40~110 parts wheat germ oil, 5~15 parts sandalwood oil, 60~100 parts ethanol, 50~100 parts glycerol.

2. The camphor vervain essential oil according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises: 5~15 parts by weight of cedarwood extract.

3. The camphor vervain essential oil according to claim 1, characterized in that the preparation method of the camphor extract is as follows: (1) clean the camphor leaves, air-dry the moisture, and place them in a Soxhlet extractor; (2) add anhydrous ethanol to the Soxhlet extractor, and carry out reflux extraction of the camphor leaves at a temperature of 70~80°C; (3) vacuum-concentrate the resulting reflux liquid at a temperature of 40~50°C until the volume is 1/5 of the original liquid volume.

4. The camphor vervain essential oil according to claim 1, characterized in that the preparation method of the vervain extract is as follows: after cleaning the vervain, dry it and crush it, place it in 75% ethanol, heat to 50~60°C, and carry out reflux extraction for 1~3h; subject the resulting reflux liquid to reduced-pressure distillation to remove the solvent, and it is obtained.

5. The camphor vervain essential oil according to claim 3, characterized in that during the vacuum concentration, the pressure is controlled at 20~30kPa.

6. The camphor vervain essential oil according to claim 3, characterized in that the pressure of the reduced-pressure distillation is 10~30kPa and the temperature is 60~80°C.

Effects of vervain on the skin

Resolving stasis and invigorating blood: For some people, the effect after using vervain to treat the skin is remarkable, because blood stasis may occur in the body, leading to poor skin quality; at this time, using vervain to invigorate the blood will achieve a very good effect.

Nourishing the skin: Vervain itself contains some nutrients, and making vervain into essential oil can achieve the effect of treating acne and pimples.

Anti-inflammatory and swelling-reducing: Although vervain contains a certain toxicity, this toxicity is extremely small, thus giving vervain a good anti-inflammatory and swelling-reducing effect.
