Essential oils generally should be diluted before use unless otherwise stated.
Be careful not to let children come into direct contact with essential oils.

Avoid direct contact of essential oils with the eyes and other sensitive areas.
Avoid contact of essential oils with plastic, paint and painted surfaces.
Use stainless steel, glass or ceramic containers to hold essential oils; plastic products must not be used.
Infants within two weeks after birth must not use essential oils; infants from two weeks to four months after birth can have one drop of essential oil added to bath water (or mixed with 20 ml of carrier oil for use); children over 12 years old use one quarter of the adult dosage. Benefits and effects of oregano essential oil

Oregano, also called "wild marjoram", is a multi-functional herb that can be used to reduce inflammation and kill bacteria, fight viruses, and promote digestion; it is also a European cooking seasoning, and especially pizza would lose its fundamental flavor without oregano. Oregano gives the dishes we make more layers, and a more three-dimensional and richer taste.
Oregano essential oil is extracted from its leaves by steam distillation, and has a herbaceous, strong, green, camphor-like characteristic odor. Its main chemical components are carvacrol and thymol.
Oregano is considered a powerful natural antibiotic, and research shows it can even fight a super Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) against which any current antibiotic is ineffective. The antioxidant effect of oregano is superior to that of many other herbs; the United States Department of Agriculture rated its antioxidant capacity as 4 times that of blueberries, 12 times that of oranges, and 42 times that of apples!
