Detailed Explanation of Key Points of Open Inoculation Technology for Edible Fungi
The following key points should be noted when adopting open inoculation:
I. Aerosol fumigation method. At present, the widely used and effective method is the KDA aerosol fumigation method produced in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Generally, 3-4 grams of aerosol are used per m3 of space. Seal and fumigate for more than 0.5 hours, and wait until the smoke has fully dispersed before entering for inoculation operations.
II. Formaldehyde plus potassium permanganate disinfection method. Through the mixed reaction of formaldehyde and potassium permanganate, formaldehyde vapor is produced to disinfect the inoculation room. However, some spawn producers are not accurate in judging this dosage, which is both wasteful and unsafe, and during inoculation it cannot disperse in time, which is harmful to the health of inoculation personnel. The correct disinfection method should be to use 10-12 ml of 40% formaldehyde plus 5-7 grams of potassium permanganate per m3 of space, mix for reaction and disinfect for 30-50 minutes. If there is a pungent formaldehyde odor before inoculation, it can be eliminated by opening a bottle containing ammonia water and shaking it a few times.
III. If open inoculation production is used continuously, the above two methods can be applied alternately at intervals to improve the disinfection purity of the inoculation room.
