Product Features of High-Temperature Sterilization Retort Equipment for Edible Fungi
Many people may still be unfamiliar with the high-temperature sterilization retort and wonder why they would need something that sounds like it has nothing to do with food. What they do not know is that it is precisely an indispensable piece of equipment in the food processing industry. Made from premium stainless steel and manufactured in strict accordance with national pressure vessel manufacturing standards, food sterilization retort products are subject to layer upon layer of checks under a standardized quality management system. Before being released to the market, every piece of equipment must undergo rigorous testing, so customers can use it with complete confidence.
The food high-temperature sterilization retort works by injecting steam directly to raise the water in the hot water tank to a preset temperature, then feeding it into the process tank, while continuously circulating the process water inside the retort and heating it for sterilization through a water-steam mixer. This shortens the sterilization time and improves work efficiency. The process water used for sterilization can be recycled, saving energy, time, manpower and material resources, and reducing production costs.
Points to consider when choosing:
High-temperature high-pressure sterilization retorts are mainly selected based on temperature control accuracy and heat distribution uniformity. If the product has very strict temperature requirements, especially for export products, since very uniform heat distribution is required, a fully automatic computer-controlled sterilization retort should be chosen whenever possible. A semi-automatic computer-controlled sterilization retort offers the same temperature control and pressure control as a fully automatic one, but costs only 1/3 as much. For general requirements, an electric semi-automatic sterilization retort can be chosen. Manual sterilization retorts are difficult to operate, since temperature and pressure control are all done by hand, making it hard to control the appearance of the food, and resulting in a high rate of swollen cans (pouches) and breakage.
