How can edible mushroom pest damage be effectively reduced?
1. Keep the mushroom yard clean. Before cultivation, thoroughly clean the mushroom house and spray it evenly with a 800-fold dilution of 30% trichlorfon emulsifiable concentrate, or a 800-fold dilution of 50% dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate. For outdoor mushroom cultivation, clear the weeds around the cultivation site, and spray the soil and the surrounding area with a 250-fold dilution of 30% trichlorfon emulsifiable concentrate.
2. Prevent adult insects from entering the room. For indoor edible mushroom cultivation, nail 60-mesh fine gauze over doors, windows, ventilation holes, etc., to prevent adult pests such as mushroom flies and mushroom mosquitoes from entering the room and causing damage.
3. Use chemical fumigation to kill pests. For indoor edible mushroom cultivation, under sealed conditions, fumigate with 2 to 3 tablets of aluminum phosphide per cubic meter to eliminate indoor pests.
4. Treat the culture medium. For every 50 kg of culture medium, use 15 ml of 20% dicofol emulsifiable concentrate, add 10 kg of water, spray evenly onto the medium, mixing the medium while spraying. After spraying, pile it up for 3 days to eliminate mites in the medium.
5. Spray chemicals to kill insects. If pests are found before mushroom emergence, spray the bed surface with a 500-fold dilution of 30% trichlorfon emulsifiable concentrate or a 800-fold dilution of 50% dichlorvos emulsifiable concentrate.
