Key Points for Introducing Edible Fungi and Technical Measures for Frost Protection and Cold Resistance in Artificial Cultivation
1. Harvest promptly and as much as possible before the temperature drops, ensure adequate insulation of the mushroom shed, and remove dead mushrooms in time to prevent the spread of diseases.
2. Stop spraying water when the temperature drops, and keep the surface of the mushroom bed substrate for edible fungi as dry as possible; this can also help maintain the temperature inside the shed.
3. Reinforce the mushroom shed and strengthen insulation management. Cover the mushroom bed with straw or other crop stalks or an additional layer of arched plastic film, and reduce the number of times of entering and leaving to ensure a gradual temperature decrease and prevent drastic temperature fluctuations.
4. Dig drainage ditches around the mushroom shed to ensure smooth drainage and avoid rainwater invading the edible fungus substrate.
5. Choose the time when the temperature is relatively high at noon to open doors and windows for ventilation and oxygen replenishment in the mushroom shed, to prevent the substrate from deteriorating and turning sour.
6. After the temperature rises again, spray water on the substrate surface in time, and also apply an appropriate amount of amino acid or humic acid foliar fertilizer or glucose to accelerate the recovery of the mycelium.
