How to plant moss rose seeds? Master the correct sowing method
Moss rose, also known as "die-hard", shows that this flowering plant must have very tenacious vitality. Since this plant has particularly strong vitality, it should also be very easy to grow and care for, and hard to kill. As long as the growing environment temperature is within 30°C, we can sow it by using seeds. So, how are moss rose seeds sown?

Usually, as long as the temperature conditions are met, sowing can be done in spring, summer and autumn, as long as the temperature stays in a relatively warm climate environment of 18°C. At the same time, if no problems occur during the growing process, generally within 2 months the process from sowing to blooming can be achieved. Let's look at the specific sowing method below.
1. First, prepare the moss rose seeds for sowing, the seedling medium, and the seedling box. Of course, small tools such as toothpicks are also necessary to prepare.
2. Put the seedling medium into the seedling box, then slowly water along the edge of the medium until water flows out. This process is relatively important; do not directly aim at the medium and pour heavily, otherwise it is easy to wash away the growing medium.
3. Use a toothpick to poke a small hole in the medium of each seedling box. Then dip the toothpick in water, stick on the moss rose seeds, put the flower seeds into the small holes, then cover with soil and press gently to firm.
4. After sowing is completed, cover with the lid of the seedling tray. If set up properly, about 1-2 weeks will be needed for germination to appear. Of course, the lid covered before the seeds sprout must not be transparent, because seeds generally need a dark, light-avoiding environment to germinate.
5. After 3-4 weeks, when the roots of the moss rose seedlings have penetrated through the seedling box, and the seedlings have also grown several pairs of true leaves, in this case we can transplant the seedlings into pots.
6. The new potting soil can be prepared from peat soil and perlite in a 2:1 ratio, and used as the new growing soil. Of course, to improve the fertility of the soil, we can also add some poultry manure such as chicken manure as organic fertilizer, mixing it into the soil as a base fertilizer to increase nutrients. Then transplant the moss rose seedlings from the seedling box into the new pot.
7. After transplanting is completed and the seedlings have successfully recovered, place the flowerpot in a place with sufficient light for care and management. Because the more sufficient the light, the better the moss rose grows. Usually, it is only necessary to replenish water in time; generally, water thoroughly after the potting soil dries out, and after that no special care is needed for it to grow well.
