For topdressing in greenhouse cultivation of edible fungi, micro-sprinkler irrigation technology is preferable
China's greenhouse edible fungus cultivation technology is becoming increasingly mature. In the process of greenhouse edible fungus cultivation, micro-sprinkler irrigation has gradually replaced traditional manual watering, and its characteristics of saving water and increasing yield, saving time and effort are deeply loved by farmers. The following is a brief introduction to the beneficial effects of micro-sprinkler irrigation on temperature and humidity inside greenhouses and on edible fungus yield and other aspects.
1. Effect of micro-sprinkler irrigation on greenhouse temperature and humidity. Temperature and humidity are the main environmental factors for the growth of edible fungi. In different seasons, in addition to adopting corresponding raising and lowering facilities, spraying water can play a certain role in regulating temperature and humidity in greenhouses. Spraying water 3 times a day can keep the relative humidity in the greenhouse at about 85%. In actual operation, the number of water sprays per day must also be flexibly controlled according to seasons and climate changes. Generally, spray more on sunny days, spray less on cloudy days, and stop spraying on rainy days. In summer, water temperature is lower than air temperature, so spraying water can lower the temperature. Because water vapor evaporation can also carry away part of the heat, using micro-sprinkler irrigation to spray water in summer can increase the suspended water molecules in the air, and the cooling effect is relatively obvious. Generally, spraying water 3~5 times a day can make the greenhouse temperature 2~4°C lower than the air temperature.
2. Effect of micro-sprinkler irrigation on the yield and quality of oyster mushrooms. During manual watering, most of the water is lost, and greenhouse humidity mainly depends on the evaporation of water from the ground. When the weather is dry, young mushrooms are very likely to lose water and dry up. After using micro-sprinkler irrigation, water is atomized, stays in the air for a long time, and is very uniform, making it less likely to produce dead corners. Mist-like water molecules adhere to the mushroom bags and greenhouse film, and the relative humidity in the greenhouse can basically remain at about 85%, allowing the fruiting bodies to grow normally. According to statistics, the average yield of mushroom greenhouses using micro-sprinkler irrigation is 10%~15% higher than that of manual watering, and the fruiting bodies are smooth and tender, with quality indicators also superior to those of mushrooms watered manually.
3. Effect of micro-sprinkler irrigation on production management costs. Water management for edible fungi is the work with the largest labor input and the most difficult to master in daily management. Manual watering not only requires more labor, but also uses a large amount of water. After adopting micro-sprinkler irrigation, not only is labor intensity greatly reduced and productivity liberated, but water resources are also saved, and management costs are greatly reduced. According to statistics, compared with manual watering, micro-sprinkler irrigation can save about 300 t of water per mu per year and reduce labor by 350 workdays, and the entire investment can be recovered in one year.
Using micro-sprinkler irrigation technology for water management of edible fungi not only saves labor and reduces costs, but also greatly saves water resources. It is the main measure for China's edible fungus water management in the 21st century to transition from traditional manual watering to modern automatic sprinkler irrigation. The water sprayed by micro-sprinkler irrigation is mist-like and very uniform. Spraying water 2~3 times a day has an obvious effect on regulating greenhouse temperature and humidity and the field microclimate. When using a micro-sprinkler irrigation system, the water source must be clean and free of impurities; otherwise, it will clog the micro-sprinklers and affect the spraying effect. After a period of use, the filter screen must be cleaned to prevent pressure drop from affecting the atomization effect.
