Detailed Explanation of Prevention and Control of Mushroom Wilt Disease and Fertilization Methods
Prevention and Control Methods for Mushroom Wilt Disease
I. Symptoms The wilt pathogen mainly infects the mushroom stipe; after the stipe is infected, it shrinks and turns brown, so the fruiting body stops growing and eventually becomes a rigid mushroom. The pathogen can also secrete a toxin that kills the mushroom mycelium and pins.
II. Occurrence Characteristics This disease is mainly caused by pathogen-carrying casing soil.
III. Prevention and Control Methods (1) Casing soil disinfection. Sterilize the casing soil with steam at 70°C. (2) The casing soil layer should not be too thick, and ventilation in the mushroom house should be strengthened. (3) Spray a 500-fold solution of thiophanate or carbendazim on the affected parts for control.
