Jasmine flowers are simple yet noble in bloom, and their fragrance is very pleasant; they can even be used to make scented tea. Jasmine tea has a captivating aroma and has been loved by the public since ancient times. Therefore, there are also many flower lovers who like to grow jasmine tea plants in pots, and as long as they are cared for properly, they can be made to bloom almost every month, and their ornamental value is also very high. So growing jasmine in household pots is very practical.

Making jasmine bloom every month is what many pot growers hope for. But many pot growers do not know how to keep jasmine blooming every month, especially beginner pot growers. If you want to keep jasmine blooming every month, you must master the necessary cultivation techniques. To make jasmine bloom abundantly and brightly, for a long time, and to promote strong branches, you must first provide adequate light. As long as it is not scorched by the blazing sun, when the light is not strong, let it get plenty of sun.

Since jasmine is a flowering plant, it generally also needs proper pruning to ensure that the next round of blooming can proceed normally. If we prune properly, we can stimulate the plant to sprout flower buds smoothly, thus achieving monthly blooming. But when the plant is sprouting, especially during the peak growing season, it also needs a flower-promoting fertilizer applied as a top dressing. Generally, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are mainly used; potassium dihydrogen phosphate is recommended.

But fertilization should control concentration and frequency well; originally, you can keep applying phosphorus and potassium fertilizer once every half month, which can effectively promote flower bud differentiation, resulting in more flowers, higher flower color quality, and a richer floral fragrance. Not only that, it is recommended to apply a multi-element organic compound fertilizer once every 2 months to make the nutrition more comprehensive; just replenish it appropriately after nutrients are consumed.

When it comes to pruning, it is even more necessary to emphasize it. After jasmine finishes blooming, be sure to promptly prune the flowering branches, spent flowers, and weak, old, or dead branches and diseased or damaged branches. This can save some nutrients and also promote the sprouting of new branches, laying a foundation for the next round of blooming. For pruning normal branches, generally keep 2-3 nodes and cut off all the other parts.

Of course, we can also take this opportunity to shape it properly, mainly by pruning it into a more beautiful shape according to our own design. But if pruning is not carried out in time, too many and too long branches and leaves will consume a large amount of nutrients, leading to a reduction in the next round of flowering and lower quality.

Therefore, if you want to grow jasmine well and make it bloom more, you not only need to prune often, but also need to keep up with water and fertilizer, and it certainly cannot lack light. As long as everyone does a good job in these aspects of cultivation and management, you will definitely be able to keep potted jasmine blooming every month with fragrance filling the air.
