The flowering peach is a variety of peach and a genus in the Rosaceae family. Customarily it refers to the semi-double and double species belonging to ornamental peach blossoms. The flowering period is from March to April, longer than that of plum blossoms, with rich and colorful hues and many patterns. Common varieties include white peach, peach, red peach, golden peach sprinkled on the same plant, on the same flower or even the same petal, as well as chrysanthemum peach, five-color peach, weeping peach, red-leaf peach and other varieties

Medicinal value

The gum secreted on the peach bark, commonly known as peach gum, can be used as an adhesive and so on. It is a polysaccharide that can form arabinose, galactose, xylose, rhamnose, glucuronic acid and so on. It is edible and also used medicinally; it has the effects of breaking blood stasis and boosting qi.

How to plant osmanthus tree seeds?

Osmanthus is a flower that everyone likes very much. It is a common greening tree. Osmanthus fragrance can not only be used as tea, but also used medicinally. Its economic value is very high. So, how do osmanthus tree seeds grow?

●The sowing of osmanthus tree seeds is generally carried out by the strip method. The specific style is:

A. First, make horizontal or vertical grooves on the seedbed, the width of the groove is 12cm, the depth of the groove is

B. Sow one germinated seed every 6-8cm in the ditch, generally 30,000 beads can be planted per mu of land.

C. Place the umbilical side toward the side of the seedling to avoid bending the radicle and young stem and affecting the growth of the seedling.

D. After sowing, cover with fine soil; the thickness of the covering soil should not exceed 2 to 3 times the transverse diameter of the seed.

E. After covering with soil, level the surface to avoid water accumulation, then cover with a thin layer of straw so that the soil cannot be seen, and press the rope tightly to prevent the grass from being blown away by the wind

F. Then spray water thoroughly with a fine watering can until the soil is soaked. Covering with grass and spraying water can keep the soil moist, avoid soil compaction, and promote seed germination and early emergence.

●For seed germination time and details, pay special attention to the following points:

First, uncover the grass. When the seeds sprout from the soil, correctly uncover the grass on cloudy days or in the evening. The grass should be noted, divided, and part of the covering grass can remain between the seedlings to keep the seedbed moist, reduce water evaporation, and prevent weed growth.

Very good, shading. After covering the grass, shade should be provided in time with a shade shelter, keeping the light transmittance of the shade shelter at 40%, and ensuring that the cover is put on in the morning and exposed in the evening; in sunny places, rainy weather and mid-September, reed curtains can be used for storage and storage.

Three, loosening the soil. Loosening the soil must be noted, timely, with a depth of 2-3cm; it should be shallow rather than deep to prevent root damage.

Four, weeding. Weeding can be combined with loosening the soil, striving to achieve it early, removing small weeds and removing them completely. In addition, weeds in ditches, paths and ridge edges should be cleared to clean the ground and eliminate pests and breeding sites.

Fifth, between the seedlings and osmanthus, there are fewer seedlings, because osmanthus seedlings have strong resistance to shade and grow slowly.

Sixth, when transplanting seedlings, pay attention not to damage the root system of the preserved seedlings. After transplanting, irrigate the seedlings once so that the seedling root system and soil are closely combined.

Seventh, irrigation and drainage. Osmanthus trees have high water requirements. In the dry season of summer and autumn, attention must be paid to drought-resistant seedlings, and the irrigation time is in the morning and evening. Use the method of rapid irrigation and rapid drainage, water evenly, and strengthen drainage in the rainy season to avoid seedling damage.

Eighth, fertilization. One month after the seedlings emerge, they enter the vigorous growth period. At this time, ensure that decomposed thin fertilizer or nitrogen fertilizer is applied once a month. The concentration is 10kg of mash fertilizer or 150-200g of urea or 300-400g of thiamine per 100kg of water. As the seedlings grow, the fertilization concentration can be appropriately increased. After falling, stop topdressing to prevent seedling growth and frost damage. When topdressing, do not let fertilizer stick to the seedlings to avoid damage.

Ninth, pest control. The most common diseases of osmanthus seedlings are brown spot and wilt, which cause leaves to turn yellow and fall off, and the roots and root cortex of the seedlings to rot, leading to the death of the whole plant; it is also prone to aphids, so special attention should be paid.

Tenth, transplanting. Osmanthus generally reaches 1 year old, seedling height can reach 20-30cm, and can be transplanted the next spring. The height of a 2-year-old seedling is about 60cm, and when the height of a 3-year-old seedling is about 1m, it needs to be transplanted again. Many osmanthus trees are used as shade trees or trunk trees. This requirement is relatively high. Usually it takes 8 to 10 years of cultivation, with a height of 2 to 3m and a base diameter of 8 to 1.

How to plant dianthus flower seeds

Dianthus has many flowers and rich colors, and is often used as a special flower for Mother's Day, symbolizing pure maternal love. In addition to rich and colorful colors, the flowering period of dianthus is also very long, usually from spring to autumn. If you use it as a potted plant and maintain good management, you can make it bloom in all seasons. It is a good product for greenhouse potting.

Dianthus is usually used for sowing and raising seedlings, but sowing is suitable, especially in a temperature environment. The optimal temperature for seed germination is usually between 21-22°C. The sowing time should be carried out in September after entering autumn each year. So, how do you plant dianthus seeds?

First, we need to prepare nutrient soil in advance as a seedling bed, and then scatter the seeds into the nutrient soil. However, after sowing, do a good job of moisturizing. The potting soil must be kept suitable for the germination of carnation flower seeds. Usually about 5 days after sowing, we can see the seeds appearing in the image, and after 10 days, they often appear.

Temperature management at the seedling stage is also very important, usually it needs to be kept at about 10-20°C; when the seedlings produce 4-5 leaves, we need to transplant in time. If the management measures after maintenance are in place, they usually bloom in the next spring. At that time, we will be able to see the style brought by potted carnation flowers.

Dianthus is not a perennial plant; it is a perennial herbaceous flower plant. As a potted plant, we need to apply enough base fertilizer in the pot, and 2-3 seedlings can be planted in each pot. When the seedlings grow to a height of about 15cm, carry out the topping process in time to promote the germination of more side branches, and the plant shape is fuller.

In the later stage, we also need to appropriately remove some axillary buds, otherwise the plant is prone to sprout too many branches, causing fierce nutrient competition among the branches, thereby changing the plant type. As a result, it causes excessive flowering and nutrients are too dispersed, making the flowers too small and affecting ornamental value. By appropriately removing some axillary buds, nutrients will be concentrated on the remaining flowering branches, thereby ensuring that the plant is more beautiful, the flowers are larger, and the potted plant is more ornamental.

However, the management of potted carnation flowers in terms of light, temperature and water and fertilizer is also very important, especially in the growth period. The growth period usually requires placement in a well-lit and well-ventilated environment. During this period, the potting soil must be kept at appropriate humidity. You can maintain a thin liquid fertilizer once a week, but you need to control the concentration of the liquid fertilizer. Low concentration, thin fertilizer and diligent application.

After entering summer, due to high temperature, in addition to watering work, it is also necessary to spray water frequently to cool and moisturize. At the same time, because there is more rainfall in summer, it is necessary to do a good job of drainage and flood control in time. If the potting soil is difficult to soak in water, the soil must be loosened in time to improve the looseness and permeability of the soil, while also improving the soil's permeability, and ensuring that water can smoothly penetrate. Drain excess water from the soil.

When the temperature decreases in autumn and winter, watering must be properly controlled, especially in cold winter, water as little as possible to keep the soil in a slightly dry state. In addition, the temperature should be kept between 5-8°C, which can not only ensure smooth overwintering, but also promote potted carnation flowers to bloom in winter and next spring, and extend the ornamental value.
