How to grow hydroponic plants? Recommended varieties that even beginners can easily keep alive
Some friends are especially fond of hydroponic plants; they look clean, and indoor cultivation does not make a mess. However, you do need to do a good job of preventing mosquito breeding, and next, prepare suitable plants. The following are all aquatic plants with good ornamental value. Which one have you grown?

1. Pennywort
To care for pennywort, it is best to grow it in half soil and half water, keeping it in an environment with good light and ventilation. The temperature is best between 20 and 30 degrees. You can appropriately water it with some fertiliser solution once or twice a month. In less than a month, the pennywort can grow to fill a large pot.
Keep it well ventilated with ample light and a suitable temperature, and it will keep growing. When ventilation is good, you can mist it with water frequently. In an environment with higher humidity, its leaves will grow larger.
2. Calla lily
To care for potted calla lilies, keep them in a warm, humid place. After the weather turns cooler in autumn and winter, move them indoors so they can avoid frost damage. However, note that this plant is toxic if ingested, and after repotting or transplanting, you should also wash and disinfect your hands.
The most important thing when planting potted calla lilies is to choose a suitable position. Calla lily care requires ample light, but you should avoid the strong sunlight at noon and in the afternoon, especially in summer, and avoid excessive exposure to the sun.
The most suitable care temperature is maintained between 16 and 22 degrees. Temperatures that are too high or too low will both affect its growth.
3. Canna
Caring for canna requires ample light. In places where winters are cold, dig up the underground tubers and store them in an environment of around 5 degrees. For potted care, you can move the pots indoors. In the south, many cannas grow by the water's edge or in shallow water areas.
Canna has large, brightly coloured flowers, rich colours, a good plant shape and is easy to cultivate. The optimum temperature for open-field cultivation is 13-17°C. It is not strict about soil requirements, growing best in loose, fertile, well-drained sandy loam, and it also adapts to fertile clayey soil.
