The Lucky Bamboo cage is something we see often in daily life, and it commonly appears in many places, such as offices, living rooms, bedrooms, coffee tables and so on. Its height is around 1 m, its leaves are very much like willow leaves in shape, and the leaf color is quite deep green, so it also has fairly strong ornamental value.

So what are its cultivation methods and precautions? Let's take a look below.

Cultivation methods and precautions for the Lucky Bamboo cage

1. Light

It generally prefers diffused light and does not do well when exposed to strong light. In addition, it itself rather likes growing in warm, humid and sheltered places, so it does not need much light. But what must be said here is that even though it likes sheltered environments, it cannot be kept in one for too long, otherwise its plant will keep growing leggy and may even fail to bloom. We need to occasionally put it in a sunny spot on the balcony to receive appropriate light, so that its plant can grow better.

2. Watering

As we said before, it generally likes somewhat humid places, so before planting we can water it appropriately, which makes it easier for its roots to absorb water and also promotes the growth of its plant. But remember, the potting soil must not be too wet, otherwise it will easily rot the roots and affect the normal respiration of its plant.

3. Temperature

It likes warm places. The warmth mentioned here refers to a suitable temperature, neither particularly high nor particularly low. This is the most suitable temperature condition for its growth. If the temperature is too low, which here refers to winter, too low a temperature will hinder its plant's growth, directly causing the leaves to turn yellow, and in severe cases even causing the plant to die. Of course, the temperature must not be too high either, which here refers to summer. If the temperature is too high, its plant will absorb too quickly, leading to insufficient nutrients, which in turn hinders the plant's growth and also causes the leaves to turn yellow. So before planting, we must adjust the temperature well.
