Winter Care Methods and Key Points for Ornamental Fruit Plants
The ornamental value of fruit-bearing ornamental plants is rather special. Sometimes in winter, we can see trees full of fruit. But how should ornamental fruit plants be cared for in winter?

The environment for caring for ornamental fruit plants in winter
Light
Growing ornamental fruit plants requires sufficient light. Generally, they should be placed in a spot with ample light so they can receive sunlight. In winter, ornamental fruit plants should be grown indoors, and sufficient light must be maintained, exposing them to sunlight as much as possible to enhance their ornamental value.
Ventilation
Ventilation of the environment is very important for ornamental fruit plants. Keeping the air circulating can prevent the fruit from dropping prematurely because it is too stuffy.
Temperature
The temperature needed for caring for ornamental fruit plants in winter should be determined according to the cold tolerance of the plant. For cold-sensitive ornamental fruit plants, the care temperature needs to be kept relatively high, above 15°C during the day and also maintained at 10°C at night, such as finger citron (Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis). For relatively cold-tolerant ornamental fruit plants that can withstand low temperatures, a temperature of 0°C may not have much effect, such as goji (Lycium chinense).
Water and fertilizer management for ornamental fruit plants in winter
Watering
In winter, note that water cannot be neglected. If the plant already has fruit hanging on it, keep the potting soil moist. The fruit contains plump moisture, so it will look full and more attractive. If it lacks water, the fruit may lose water and shrivel.
