Note: precautions for growing succulents!

The main component of succulents is water. They are like a water reservoir, able to survive even with frequent watering. So, if watering is too frequent, succulents easily develop rot and then gradually wither. Therefore, each time you water, pay attention to observing the plant's condition and the moisture level of the soil. A thin, shrivelled plant is a sign that it needs water; if it already has enough water, it will look plump.

Soil differences between northern and southern growing

The climate in the north is dry, so the key point to note when mixing soil is water retention (water retention tips: add more plant ash to the mixed soil...);

The climate in the south is humid, with excessive air humidity, so for succulent growing medium choose one with strong air and water permeability (add more granular material to the mixed soil to ensure soil aeration and prevent succulents from rotting).
