Xu's crape myrtle cultivation skills are solid; his methods are worth learning from.

President Xu's assistant sent several more pictures. He said: Fairy, have these crape myrtles grown bigger again?
President Xu's assistant was formerly the finance manager at his company. After he fell ill, all the company's employees became gardeners in the crape myrtle garden.
The assistant also became a senior gardener. He knows pruning and pest and disease control.

The large crape myrtle trees grow even more vigorously thanks to an original little invention. It was thought up by Old Xu and his industrial workers. As shown in the picture above, four PVC pipes emerge from the ground around the base of the crape myrtle - that is one application of the little invention. I explained its use in detail in a previous article.
Its purpose is to automatically drain water from within the soil, so that the moisture content in the soil around the tree roots balances itself automatically. With balanced soil moisture, large trees like crape myrtles can only grow healthier the longer they live.

This innovative planting method is a huge reward from Old Xu's industrial workers turning into gardeners under his direction.

The crape myrtle trees at Old Xu's home all grow exceptionally vigorously; even the skills of an ordinary professional gardener might not reach this level of cultivation.
