Farmers who follow the crowd in planting may lose money? These two crops need to be planted with caution
In the past two years, the crop market has been relatively sluggish. Whether vegetables or grain, not only is market demand unstable, but price fluctuations are also quite obvious. When farmers choose crops to plant, one careless move can mean losing both principal and profit!

Take garlic planting in previous years as an example. Those who planted it the first year all made money, but for farmers who planted it again the second year, "breaking even" had already become their wish. Similar situations apply to the following two crops. Next year, when we farmers choose what to plant, we must be cautious and make a decision only after rationally analyzing market conditions!

1. Corn
Corn is the first choice for most of us farmer friends, for a very simple reason. First, growing corn in our country comes with subsidies. Second, market demand is also greater than for other crops. However, in the past two years, because foreign corn is low-priced and enters directly, our country's granaries still have stockpiles, so in the short term there will be no room for a large increase in corn prices. Farmers need to understand this.

2. Garlic sprouts
Everyone knows that this year the retail price of garlic sprouts on the market is actually quite high, but in reality, when farmers sell them, the price is only a few mao per jin. The reason such a high price has been hyped up is that middlemen control the total amount bought and sold, so farmers who planted garlic sprouts this year did not really make much money. But other people do not think so. Therefore, next year it is very likely that farmers will blindly plant garlic sprouts.

The same reasoning applies to other vegetables. Because vegetable prices have all risen this year, many farmers are already prepared to "go all out" next year, but this can easily lead to supply exceeding demand in the market, prices will still be pushed down, and unsold stock is very likely to occur. So when we farmers sow, we must not only choose the right "seed" but also control the right "amount"!
