What to Do About Aphids on Roses? Removal Methods and Pesticide Recommendations
Although there are relatively few aphids on roses in winter, once spring arrives and the temperature warms up, aphids on roses simply come popping out in no time. Today I want to share a little trick that can easily kill rose aphids without pesticides, effective and simple.
Aphid Nemesis: Laundry Detergent Solution
How to Use:
1. Find a small spray bottle, add 2 spoonfuls of laundry detergent and shake well
⟧ 2. Spray directly on both the front and back sides of the affected leaves.
3. After spraying on the first day, observe the leaves. If the aphids have not died, add a little more laundry detergent
4. Basically, after using it continuously for more than 2 days, you will see the aphids on the rose leaves dead, leaving behind dark little aphid corpses.
Note: If you use this method in summer, do not spray in the morning; spray in the evening to avoid sunlight burning the leaves. Use a small amount first, then gradually increase the dosage. This method is only suitable for treating rose aphid problems in a small area. When the quantity is large, it is recommended to use other methods.
