Pitcher plants: water requirements for growing

Water: use water with low mineral content (such as rainwater, purified water, etc.), and keep the substrate consistently moist and airy,

but not overly wet (when there is a sheen of water on the outside of the substrate, it means the water is at saturation point; note that the substrate is already thoroughly wet and watering should stop), otherwise it will affect the normal growth of the roots and may even cause root rot that leads to the death of the plant.

Lack of water will cause the pitcher plant to dehydrate and shrivel, with leaves drooping, curling or wrinkling in waves, and developing pitchers drying up.
