Gooseberry Growing Methods and How Much the Fruit Costs per Jin
Gooseberry is a plant, and many people absolutely love this gooseberry. How do you grow gooseberry? How much does gooseberry fruit cost per jin:

How to grow gooseberry:
1. Soil selection
Gooseberry likes neutral to slightly acidic soil, loose and fertile soil, and appropriately increasing humus. Thickening the soil layer can promote good gooseberry growth. It is best to choose flat terrain with sufficient sunlight for planting. Gentle slopes with a gradient of no more than 10 degrees are also good places for planting.
2. Water and fertilizer management
The base fertilizer for gooseberry should mainly be farmyard manure. When transplanting in spring and autumn, dig trenches on both sides of the plant clumps or between two plant clumps, bury the farmyard manure in, cover with soil, and water; gooseberry topdressing only needs to be done 2 times a year. During the bud break period, apply urea and ammonium nitrate to ensure the plant's necessary growth. After flower drop and during the fruit growth period, apply nitrogen-phosphorus compound fertilizer to promote fruiting. The fertilizer can likewise be applied between the plant clumps, then irrigated.
3. Pruning and shaping
Gooseberry plant clumps are relatively vigorous. In spring, new shoots will emerge from the rhizome area. To ensure vigorous growth of new shoots, old branches need to be pruned to ensure nutrient supply for the new shoots. Old branches are generally pruned back to leave 4-5 buds for short cutting. After a few years, the aboveground part of the gooseberry will have more branches, increasing the fruit-setting rate. Of course, the more new shoots the better is not always true. Find a critical value to ensure the best fruit-setting rate and fruit quality.
4. Gooseberry powdery mildew
Gooseberry mainly suffers from powdery mildew. Diseased leaves have a white mold layer, and when touched by hand, white powder drifts off. Therefore, when planting, reasonable close planting is needed to increase ventilation and light transmission. If disease occurs, spray with special spectrum azole diluted 3000 times.
5. Gooseberry clearwing moth
Gooseberry branches and leaves damaged by clearwing moth wither and fall, and flowers and fruits drop. Once damaged, cut off the withered branches and destroy them, then spray with malathion liquid diluted 3000 times for control.

Those strangely shaped but incredibly delicious fruits in foreigners' eyes, which ones have you eaten?
I think I am qualified to answer this question, because I often travel around the world, and I love eating fruit. First, here is a picture. These are various fruits I bought locally while traveling in Colombia.
Let's start with the most delicious: Uzbek watermelon. Please recall the most delicious strawberry you have ever eaten. Now this strawberry weighs 3 kg each, but it is just as delicious. Imagine cutting it open with one knife, holding up a large piece, and taking a deep bite, letting the juice run down your neck. This feeling is not exaggerated at all. This kind of watermelon has a wide source and low price, and there are plenty of roadside stalls.
What I am going to talk about next is not so common for Americans.
Sweet granadilla
The most delicious in the famous passion fruit family. Compared with other types, it is less sour and more flavorful. The process of peeling and eating it is also very enjoyable. It originates from northern South America.
Gooseberry
When I was in Russia, I could eat this nonstop. The taste and texture are between grapes and kiwifruit, and the outside is furry. I ate it in the United States, but it was sour. In addition, I also recommend currants, black, red and white. They are close relatives of gooseberry.
Mangosteen
A very exotic fruit. A bit like fruit from an alien planet in science fiction. You can buy it in Florida, but its place of origin is Southeast Asia. The shell separates easily from the flesh. The white, smooth and soft flesh looks like orange segments. At first bite it is a bit sour, but it almost immediately melts into a sweet and soft texture. In addition, it is a bit rough, like a mushroom.
Alphonso mango
Last year I was lucky enough to go to India during mango season, and there I likewise bought some of every kind of fruit. Among these, the best one, far ahead of the others, was the Alphonso mango. It is somewhat similar to the Manila mango commonly seen in the United States, but in every way far surpasses the latter. Sweeter, more delicious and delicate, and with less astringent taste.
Sugar apple
A fully ripe sugar apple is a rare thing. It is very soft, and you may crush it while figuring out how to peel it. Its flavor keeps changing as you get closer to the seeds in the center. It is hard to describe what it tastes like. It is a tropical fruit of the Americas.
Pradheap Babu
Sugar palm
Called "Nungu" in Tamil, it can be included on the list. It is a relatively common summer fruit in India.
Each one has two to three layers of shellKent Blakely
Lucuma
A local fruit of Peru, quite delicious! Although the inside is more like avocado, once you finish the yellow flesh, you cannot help wanting more.
The texture of the flesh is unusually dry and crisp, but the taste is like maple syrup, brown sugar, and roasted sweet potato.
The most popular local way to eat it is as ice cream! Sun-dried lucuma powder is used to make ice cream, so as to blend in its sweetness and grainy texture. In Peru, lucuma-flavored ice cream is more popular than vanilla flavor and chocolate flavor. I have also drunk lucuma-flavored pisco sour, a drink very famous in Peru and the United States.

Pandanus, from Hawaii, looks very beautiful!
