[Trade name] Selectone

[Common name] clethodim

[Formulation] 12% emulsifiable concentrate

[Application rate] For the control of annual grass weeds, use 525-600 ml of 12% Selectone per hectare. Use the lower rate when weeds are small or when field moisture is good at application, weeds are growing vigorously, and relative air humidity is high; use the higher rate when weeds are older in leaf age, the field is dry, and relative air humidity is low. For the control of perennial grass weeds such as reed, when the weeds are below 40 cm, use 1050-1200 ml of 12% Selectone per hectare.

[Timing of use] Postemergence in sesame at the 3-5 leaf stage of grass weeds.

[Targets controlled] Wild oat, barnyardgrass, green foxtail, yellow foxtail, giant foxtail, Kentucky bluegrass, many-flowered sprangletop, clustered sprangletop, Leptochloa panicea, bermudagrass, crowfoot grass, crabgrass, large crabgrass, smooth crabgrass, shortawn foxtail, darnel, Panicum dichotomiflorum, proso millet, Texas millet, redtop panicum, broadleaf signalgrass, goosegrass (crabgrass), quackgrass, long-awned barnyardgrass, red rice, Rothboellia, wild sorghum, johnsongrass, wild panicgrass, multispecies muhly, volunteer corn, reed.

[Application technique] Whole-field application or band application over the crop row are both acceptable. For a manual knapsack sprayer, the spray volume is 150-450 L per hectare; for a tractor sprayer, 75-150 L. At the 4-7 leaf stage of grass weeds, when the rainy season has arrived and field humidity is high, a lower rate can also give good efficacy.

[Rotation] Safe for subsequent crops.

[Precautions] At application, pay attention to wind speed and wind direction; do not allow the spray solution to drift onto grass crop fields such as @#@245@#@, corn, and rice, so as to avoid causing herbicide damage.
